First Grade Behavior Expectations
We have a positive approach to our first grade expectations. Students are taught school wide and classroom expectations and are expected to follow those expectations.
If students do not follow our expectations then they will be reminded about our expectations and redirected as necessary.
School Wide Expectations:
SJS Eagles SOAR!
S. Be safe
O. Be optimistic
A. Be accepting
R. Be responsible
In the classroom we will be focusing on rewarding students for their good behavior with positive feedback. A variety of fun class incentives will be utilized during the school year. These may include earning whole group or table team points that will be put towards participation in a movie/popcorn party, a game day, extra recess time, etc.
